CoolSculpting and CoolTone are both ways to enhance the results of the hard work you’ve done exercising and eating right. Both involve specialized technology, but they are very different in the way they work.

CoolSculpting uses a noninvasive freezing technique to get rid of stubborn fat cells permanently. It can take up to three months for results to show as the cells are eliminated naturally, and it can be used nearly anywhere there’s excess fat that just won’t go away by working out—including the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms, chin, and back. Ideally, clients do about three treatments to get rid of all the fat cells in the targeted area.

CoolTone is also non-invasive and is for muscle strengthening and toning using electromagnetic technology to go through the skin and fat layer and stimulate muscle contractions. It’s the equivalent of doing 30,000 sit-ups in a half hour. It’s used to strengthen, tone and firm the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. It’s best used for those who are already lean or within 15 pounds of their ideal weight. OrangeTwist recommends two treatments a week for two weeks to start, then maintenance treatments once a month or once a quarter.
