Avoid intensive exfoliants, retinols, and aggressive at-home treatments for a few days beforehand. Come in with a clean face if you can. Otherwise your esthetician will handle the cleanse. That is genuinely all the preparation needed.
The Treatment
Your esthetician guides the Hydrafacial wand across your face in three passes: cleanse and exfoliate, extract impurities, hydrate and infuse. The whole treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the tier and boosters chosen. Most clients describe it as a cool, gentle suction across the skin.
Aftercare
Walk out and carry on. There is no real aftercare. Avoid intensive exfoliation for 24 hours, use SPF 30 or higher, and let the results settle. Most clients are makeup-ready immediately.
