Density is OrangeTwist’s non-invasive RF skin-tightening treatment, delivered through the DENSITY system by Jeisys Medical. Rather than piercing the skin, Density sends dual-mode RF energy through a specialized electrode that heats the deeper layers of skin at a controlled depth. A built-in cooling function protects the surface skin while the heat works underneath, encouraging your body’s own collagen and elastin production.

A few things your provider needs to know beforehand
There is little to do beforehand. Let your provider know about any implanted cardiac device, uncontrolled diabetes, connective tissue disorders, a history of radiation therapy or chemotherapy, cancer or malignant conditions, blood disorders or blood-thinning medications, chronic NSAID or corticosteroid use, a predisposition to keloid scarring, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or any acute illness or uncontrolled high blood pressure, since these affect candidacy. Come in with clean skin.
What the appointment feels like
Your provider passes the Density handpiece across the treatment area, delivering radiofrequency energy through a specialized electrode while a built-in cooling function protects your skin’s surface. There is no needling involved, and no numbing is typically required. Most sessions take 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the area or areas treated.
How to recover well
Use an ice pack at home if redness or warmth lingers. Apply moisturizer whenever your skin feels dry, and a broad-spectrum, mineral sunscreen (SPF 30) to protect against pigmentation. Skip alcohol, and hold off on saunas, hot baths, strenuous exercise, and swimming for at least one week.
