Cryolipolysis works on a simple principle: fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than the surrounding skin and tissue. CoolSculpting Elite uses precisely calibrated cooling applicators to chill the fat in the treatment area to the temperature where the cells are damaged beyond repair, without harming anything around them. The damaged cells are then cleared naturally by the body over the following weeks and months.
The key word is permanent. Fat cells that are eliminated do not regenerate. You Review
Your provider will examine the areas you want to address, confirm what is pinchable and treatable with CoolSculpting Elite, and map out a realistic treatment plan. Most areas need one or two sessions, with results building over three months. They will walk through pricing transparently before anything is booked.
Onboarding
There is very little to do beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the treatment area. Eat beforehand. Hydrate. Avoid blood-thinning medications like ibuprofen and aspirin for a few days where possible to minimize the risk of bruising.
Ongoing Care
Your provider will apply a gel pad and the CoolSculpting Elite applicator to the treatment area. The applicator suctions the tissue and begins cooling. The first few minutes are spicy as the area cools, then numbs. Most clients read, scroll, or rest during the session. Each cycle takes 35 to 45 minutes. Multiple areas can be treated in the same visit using dual applicators.
Maintenance and Transition
Your provider will briefly massage the treated area immediately after removal to help break up the frozen fat cells and improve results. Expect some redness, mild swelling, numbness, or tenderness in the treated area for a few hours to a few days. You can return to normal activities immediately. Some clients experience deeper tissue tenderness that can last one to three weeks, which is normal and resolves on its own.
