Preparation
Stop retinoids and exfoliants several days before your session and arrive cleansed. We apply numbing cream for about 20 minutes before we begin, and please tell us about any history of cold sores.
The Treatment
Your provider works in overlapping passes, adjusting depth by zone while a serum feeds the open channels. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes. With numbing on board, most clients feel a light prickly buzz, more spicy than sore.
Aftercare
Expect to look flushed and feel tight, like a mild sunburn, for about 24 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and the serums we provide, wear SPF 30 or higher, and skip makeup, hard workouts, and active skincare for a day or two.

SkinPen is FDA-cleared. We do not treat clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection, cold sore, or severe breakout in the area, or have recently taken isotretinoin. Your You Review screens for all of it.
