Most clients describe it as a quick snap of heat, similar to a rubber band flick, followed by warmth. Larger areas feel like a series of quick pulses. It is significantly more comfortable than waxing, and our providers adjust the settings to your tolerance.
Most people need six to eight sessions per area, spaced four to six weeks apart. Coarser, darker hair on lighter skin typically responds fastest. Your provider gives you a realistic estimate at your consultation.
Shave the area the day before. Avoid waxing, threading, and plucking for at least four weeks before you start, as those remove the hair root the laser targets. Arrive with clean, product-free skin.
Laser hair removal delivers long-term reduction, not a permanent guarantee, but most clients see 70 to 90 percent permanent reduction after a full series. Occasional maintenance sessions can keep any regrowth minimal.
For most clients, the treated area stays smooth with minimal to no regrowth after the full series. Some hair types benefit from one or two annual touch-up sessions to stay ahead of any regrowth.
