What is CoolSculpting Elite and how does it work?
CoolSculpting Elite is the latest generation of the FDA-cleared cryolipolysis platform from Allergan Aesthetics. The science behind it is simple. Fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than the surrounding skin and tissue. The device uses precisely calibrated cooling applicators to chill the fat in the treatment area to the point the cells are damaged beyond repair, while everything around them stays comfortable and protected.

Your provider will examine the areas you want to address, confirm what is pinchable and treatable with CoolSculpting Elite, and map out a realistic plan. Most areas need one or two sessions, with results building over three months. They will walk through pricing transparently before anything is booked.
Onboarding
There is very little to do beforehand. Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the treatment area. Eat beforehand. Hydrate. Skip blood thinners like ibuprofen and aspirin for a few days where possible to keep bruising to a minimum.
Ongoing Care
Your provider will apply a gel pad and the applicator. The first few minutes are spicy as the cold builds, then the area numbs and most clients settle in. People read, scroll, work, nap. Each cycle takes 35 to 45 minutes. With dual applicators, two areas can be treated at once, which is why most appointments are over before your lunch break is.
Maintenance and Transition
Your provider will briefly massage the treated area after removal. Expect some redness, mild swelling, and numbness for a few hours to a few days. You can return to normal activities immediately. Some clients experience deeper tissue tenderness for one to three weeks, which is normal and resolves on its own.
