Preparation
Stop retinoids and exfoliants several days before your session and arrive with cleansed skin. We apply numbing cream for about 20 minutes before we begin. If you have a history of cold sores, tell us at booking so we can plan around it.
The Treatment
Your provider works in overlapping passes, adjusting depth by zone, with a serum applied during treatment to keep the skin gliding and fed. Expect 30 to 60 minutes in the chair and a light prickly buzz, more spicy than sore.
Aftercare
Your skin will look flushed and feel tight, like a mild sunburn, for about 24 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and the serums we provide, wear SPF 30+, and skip makeup, hard workouts, and active skincare for a day or two.

Sessions are delivered by Rayn Martin, Esthetician, and Kirsten Swieter, Licensed Esthetician/Treatment Specialist, under the medical oversight of James Goggin, MD.
With numbing cream on for about 20 minutes first, most clients describe a light prickly buzz, more spicy than sore.
It is one of the strongest tools we have for acne scarring. Rolling and boxcar scars typically respond well over a series; your provider reads your specific scarring at the You Review and tells you honestly what to expect.
SkinPen is FDA-cleared and well studied. We do not treat clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection, cold sore, or severe breakout in the treatment area, or have recently taken isotretinoin. Your You Review confirms candidacy.
Most clients need a series of three sessions, spaced about four weeks apart. Deeper scarring may call for more, and your Dallas provider will map that out before you commit.
