RF Microneedling combines two proven technologies in a single treatment. The microneedling component creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural collagen response. The radiofrequency (RF) component delivers heat at depth through the same channels, contracting existing collagen and stimulating new collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin.

Your provider will examine your skin, listen to your goals, and recommend whether RF Microneedling is the right tool, or whether traditional microneedling (SkinPen) or a combination approach suits you better. They will walk through the realistic course and pricing transparently.
Preparation
Stop retinoids and active exfoliants five to seven days before your session. Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks beforehand. Let your provider know about any cold sore history, recent acne, or isotretinoin use within the past six months. Come in with a clean face.
The Treatment
Your provider will apply a topical numbing cream and let it sit for 30 to 45 minutes (RF Microneedling needs a bit more numbing time than standard microneedling). The treatment pass takes 30 to 45 minutes. The sensation is at the spicier end of the menu, manageable with numbing and your provider keeping a steady pace.
Aftercare
Expect redness similar to a moderate sunburn for two to three days, sometimes with mild swelling and pinpoint marks where the needles passed. Most clients return to work in two to three days, sometimes the next day with mineral makeup. Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, makeup for 48 hours, and direct sun for a week. Your provider will share a specific routine.
