What is a Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial is a non-invasive, medical-grade facial treatment that combines three proven steps: cleansing and exfoliation, painless extraction, and intensive hydration with medical-grade serums. It is one of the most performed skin treatments globally, and our Irvine Center Drive estheticians deliver it day in, day out.
How Hydrafacial works
What sets Hydrafacial apart from a traditional facial is its patented Vortex-Fusion technology. Instead of manual extraction (which can cause redness and discomfort), Hydrafacial uses a spiral suction tip to simultaneously remove congestion and infuse treatment serums into freshly cleared pores. The result is more effective, more comfortable, and visible immediately.

Your Hydrafacial journey starts with a complimentary consultation. Your esthetician will assess your skin type, optionally run a Visia skin analysis scan, listen to what you want to achieve, and recommend the right Hydrafacial tier and booster combination. No pressure, no upsell. Just a clear, honest plan.
Preparation
Avoid intensive exfoliants, retinols, and aggressive at-home treatments for a few days beforehand. Come in with a clean face if you can. Otherwise, your esthetician will handle the cleanse. That is genuinely all the preparation needed.

The Treatment
Your esthetician will guide the Hydrafacial wand across your face in three passes: cleanse and exfoliate, extract impurities, hydrate and infuse. The whole treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the tier and boosters chosen. Most clients describe it as a cool, gentle suction across the skin.
Aftercare
Walk out and carry on. There is no real aftercare for Hydrafacial. Avoid intensive exfoliation for 24 hours, use SPF 30 or higher (especially in south OC summers), and let the glow do its thing. Most clients are makeup-ready immediately.

From Irvine Spectrum, head north on Irvine Center Drive. We are minutes away. From Woodbridge, take Culver Drive south and turn west onto Irvine Center Drive. From UC Irvine, head south on Bonita Canyon Drive, then east onto Irvine Center Drive. All routes under 15 minutes outside of rush hour.
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Sunday, 9 AM to 3 PM, one of the few OrangeTwist centers open Sundays. Same-day Hydrafacials are often available. Call the center on (949) 335-4662 to check.
