Laser hair removal uses targeted light energy to destroy hair follicles at the root, preventing future hair growth in the treated area. You Review
Your provider will assess your skin tone, hair color, and treatment area. They will walk through realistic expectations for the number of sessions needed, the spacing, and the full course pricing. No pressure to start that day.
Preparation
Shave the treatment area the day before (do not wax, pluck, or epilate, the laser needs the root intact). Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks beforehand. Come in with clean, product-free skin.
The Treatment
Your provider will apply a cooling gel and guide the Splendor X handpiece across the treatment area. Each pulse feels like a quick snap of warm rubber band. Treatment times range from a few minutes for the upper lip to around 45 minutes for full legs.
Aftercare
Mild redness or sensitivity is normal for a few hours. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and intensive exercise for 24 hours. Use SPF 30 or higher on the treated area for the next two weeks. Hair will start to shed over the following two weeks. That is normal.
