Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable biostimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It sits in a different category from hyaluronic acid filler: rather than adding gel volume, it works underneath as a scaffold that signals your skin to build new collagen.

Ease off blood thinners, alcohol, and strong actives for a couple of days before your session, and arrive with clean skin.
The Treatment
Sculptra is delivered as a series of small injections, usually with numbing, across about 30 to 45 minutes. Most clients find it very manageable, more spicy than sore, and you are on your way well within the parking window outside.
Aftercare
Expect mild swelling, tenderness, or the odd bruise for a few days. Your injector shows you the at-home massage routine. One thing to know: the early fullness is mostly fluid and settles.

Our center is at 8565 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618, in the Los Olivos plaza next to Kenneth Brown Salon and Angelina’s, near the Irvine Spectrum. Park in the open lot outside; the three-hour limit leaves plenty of margin around a 45-minute appointment.
From Lake Forest or Laguna Hills, take the 5 toward Irvine and exit for Irvine Center Drive; we are just off the freeway near the Spectrum. From Woodbridge or Tustin, follow Irvine Center Drive toward the Spectrum side of the city.
