What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is collagen induction therapy: a controlled way of prompting your skin to repair and rebuild itself. Stop retinoids and exfoliants several days before your session and arrive cleansed. We apply numbing cream for about 20 minutes before we begin, and please tell us about any history of cold sores.
The Treatment
Your provider works in overlapping passes, adjusting depth by zone while a serum feeds the open channels. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes. With numbing on board, most clients feel a light prickly buzz, more spicy than sore.
Aftercare
Expect to look flushed and feel tight, like a mild sunburn, for about 24 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and the serums we provide, wear SPF 30 or higher, and skip makeup, hard workouts, and active skincare for a day or two.

Take the 5 toward Irvine and exit for Irvine Center Drive; the Los Olivos plaza is just off the freeway near the Spectrum. From Woodbridge or Tustin, follow Irvine Center Drive toward the Spectrum end of town.

Acne scarring is one of microneedling’s strongest use cases. The micro-channels trigger collagen rebuilding directly beneath the scars, softening them across the series. Deeper scarring may take more sessions; your provider maps that honestly at your You Review.
SkinPen is FDA-cleared. We do not treat clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection, cold sore, or severe breakout in the area, or have recently taken isotretinoin. Your You Review screens for all of it.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is drawn from your own blood, spun in our on-site centrifuge, and applied during your session so the growth factors travel down the open channels. Both of our Irvine providers offer it as an upgrade.
